The World Merit FUND
At World Merit, we believe the solutions to today’s greatest challenges already exist — in the energy, creativity, and leadership of young people. The World Merit Fund channels resources, partnerships, and opportunities into youth-led initiatives that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in communities across Africa, Asia, and beyond.
By supporting the Fund, you’re not just giving — you’re investing in a future where young people lead the way in building a fairer, greener, and more sustainable world.

our programs
- Volunteers for Local Change
- Youth-led Hubs
- Impact Internships
We connect motivated young people with grassroots NGOs and CBOs, strengthening local capacity and amplifying community-led solutions.
Safe, collaborative spaces run by young leaders, where changemakers receive mentorship, training, and the resources to bring their social and environmental ideas to life.
Hands-on experience inside impact-driven organizations, equipping youth with practical skills and networks to scale their impact careers.
Your donation helps World Merit empower youth leaders worldwide to create sustainable solutions for their communities.
World Merit Fund can receive donations in the following ways.
Donation Receipts
Please email the following to us when you make a donation by Transfer or of Securities so we can issue a receipt:
· Name of the person or entity making the donation
· Date the donation was made
· Where to send the receipt (email address or mailing address, whichever is preferred)
· Donation amount
· World Merit Fund
As the banks often have limited memos and hard-to read descriptions, this will help our team know which fund your donation is supporting as well as provide the information we need to send you a receipt!
