Register your Impact
Get started by registering any initiatives you have taken to help tackle the Sustainable Development Goals. It can be anything from facilitating a workshop, organising an event or a social media campaign. Any ideas and any means to reach the SDGs.
Registering your local impact is rewarded with points which you can exchange for global opportunities, events and internships.
Your impact will be part of the Global World Merit Impact that is calculated monthly, and shared in the Impact Reports. The Impact Report is made for you to share with your (potential) partners and community as a means of storytelling to improve your relationships, collaboration and impact!
Start a Council
What is a Council?
• World Merit aims to impact all communities around the world through councils of young volunteers, who are organising activities and events on a frequent basis and acting in the name of World Merit.
• Instead of working as a group of individuals, you are suddenly operating as a part of a global established and trustworthy organisation. Being part of something bigger opens up more doors to partnerships and community members who are willing to support you in your cause.
• Start your own Local Merit Council (LMC) in your community, city, school or university.
How do I start a Council?
•Upon application, you will have a call with World Merit Global or the National Council already present in your country. Once you are all set to go, Council Members are trained in structure, management and on-boarded through calls and workshops.
•As a council you will join the exclusive Merit Council Platform where you will be connected to the councils around the world, have access to the Council Handbook and where you will have regular online meetings with the other Merit Councils to collaborate on achieving the SDGs.
